They have three times as many tastes buds as adults

If you have ever wondered how babies eat their bland food satisfyingly, it's because they have three times more tastes buds then the adults. New born's are born with 30,000 tastes buds whereas adults have only 10,000.

Babies can't have tears while crying

Babies will cry a lot in their first few weeks, but you can notice no matter how red they become their is never a shred of drop. They have tear ducts but they can only produce water to protect their eyes so there is not tears dropping onto their cheeks.

Babies have natural instinct in water

Babies are born with "diving reflex" known as bradycardia which makes their body to adapt to their surroundings.When under the water baby's heart rate slows down and they will hold their breath. What's more interesting is that babies just like fishes can breath and swallow at the same time in their first few months. They learn this in the womb but slowly after 6 months since their birth they start to lose this ability.
