Black Death : Plague
Black Death
Black Death the most devastating epidemic of all time. This bubonic plague struck the world in the middle 1300s. The plague got into Europe in 1347. Black Death killed over one-third population of Europe (20 million) in just five years. Indeed in the early 1300s, the plague had taken over many countries like India, China, Syria, Persia, and Egypt. This deadly plague was spreading with trading ships according to the studies. Even rat was helping this virus to spread by infecting the groceries.
Symptoms Of Black Death:
People got some type of swelling, which squirted blood and puss. Other symptoms were cold, chills, vomiting, diarrhea, aches, etc, and then death.
The bubonic strikes at the lymphatic system of our body which causes swelling lymph cords. If the person is not treated properly the virus is used to strike blood or lungs.
People were buried on top of each other like layers. People use to burry some batch of deaths then putting some dirt over them then again burying another batch on top of them.
Today it is really easy to cure this plague. The antibiotic is common and works fast on black death, but in the 1300s people had no knowledge over human biology, and medical science was not developed. Back then people thought this is the way of God's punishment to human sins. Almost 200 million people died in this terrible plague. many believed that this is the end of the world. For comparison, the corona has killed over 998 thousand people, which is almost 1 million this is just 1% of 200 million.
